**** Always follow manufacture torque specs for all components.
**** We strongly recommend you get your bike built by or checked over by a qualified mechanic before riding.
**** Improper assembly could result in reduced product life, injury or death.

Foreword:
Your bike has been disassembled as little as possible to ship safely and at reasonable cost. All possible adjustments have been made before it was disassembled for delivery (derailleur limits, cable tension and B-tension set, brake calipers centred on rotors, stem torqued to handlebar, BB preload adjusted). However if you have limited experience working on bikes or are at all unsure, the best course of action is to get a mechanic friend or your local shop to help. 

Tools required:

  • 5 and 6mm allen keys.
  • T25 torx key.
  • Torque wrench.
  • Pump.
  • Shock pump.
  • A bike stand will make your life a lot easier. A few beers/biscuits to borrow one from your buddy will be a favour well spent.

Build:

  1. Un-package wheels and inflate tires to desired pressure.
    • Tires are pre-seated and have tubeless sealant inside already. (Sealant installed the day it was shipped ie. it's fresh!) 
    • Dirt jumpers and most kids bikes have tubes installed (no sealant).
  2. Fit rotors to wheels.
    • Torque to 6.2Nm. Note: Rotors are directional, look at another bike if you are unsure.
    • On some bike builds, rotors may be different sizes front to rear, larger goes on the front.
  3. Fit derailleur to frame.
    • Note: Cable tension, limit screws and B-tension have been set for you.
    • Do not adjust until you have done a test ride and deemed an adjustment is necessary.
  4. Fit fork, bar and stem.
    • Headset is in correct order packaged to frame, note order when removing.
    • Set spacers to desired height, if unsure start with one big above stem and rest below.
    • Set headset preload to have no bearing play and smooth rotation.
    • Align stem with front wheel and tighten to steerer tube (torque to 8Nm).
  5. Fit controls to handlebars.
    • Follow manufactures torque specs (SRAM = 4Nm).
  6. Fit wheels to bike, tighten both axles to 10Nm.
    • Remember to remove caliper pad spacers prior to wheel install.
    • Keep the pad spacers, they always come in handy.
  7. Fit chain.
    • Length is precut. Quick links are directional, see arrow on link.
  8. Inflate fork and shock to desired pressures.

Final Checks:

Again, we strongly recommend you have a professional mechanic check over your bike prior to riding.
