"I’m beyond excited to be partnering with Chromag for 2025! Growing up in Whistler, I’ve admired the brand since I was a kid, so it’s an incredible honor to be part of this new chapter as Chromag ventures into full suspension bikes. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and to be a part of it!" - Carter Krasny
Chromag: What are your plans for 2025?
Carter: My plans for 2025 include some Enduro races, competing in Crankworx events, going on plenty of scree run missions and adventures, and capturing more videos and content along the way!
Why did you choose the Chromag Lowdown as your preferred race rig?
The Lowdown is a perfect enduro race bike, 170mm travel in the front and 158mm in the rear. It eats up rough terrain and is very stable at high speeds, it’s also nimble enough to get through any tight switch back corners found on an enduro race course. The lowdown has the steepest seat tube angle of any enduro bike I’ve owned. This 79 degree angle puts you in the most comfortable position while climbing and makes it feel easier to get up super steep climbs.*
*Helpful for all those Enduro transition stages and long days in the saddle.
After having ridden the Lowdown for a few months now what else can you tell us about the bike that you like?
Possibly my favourite thing about the bike is the grip that it has, I’ve ridden carbon bikes the past three years and struggled with them feeling a bit stiff and also chattery at high speeds. With the steel and aluminum design the lowdown has incredible rear end compliance that gives me the confidence to hit a corner faster than I thought I could!
What adjustments or customizations have you made to your Chromag Lowdown?
I’m running the OSX 35 bars with a 35mm rise because I prefer a bit more rise in my bars rather than stacking up stem spacers. Paired with the Riza stem in a 38mm length, I’ve experimented with various stem lengths, and the 38mm works best for my cockpit setup on the Lowdown. It positions my hands close to the front axle, giving me excellent front-end grip, but without making the steering feel too sluggish, like driving a bus.

I hear you run the Chromag stock Trailmaster DT saddle, why do you like it?
I use the Trailmaster DT, which has been my go-to for over three years of racing the Enduro World Cups. I never wear a chamois, and the Trailmaster allows me to ride all day without any discomfort—it’s perfect for any long missions.
You're also running full Chromag softgoods kit, what are some of your favourite pieces?
For a casual ride, my go-to clothing would definitely be the Horizon jersey and Feint shorts. When I’m hitting the bike park, I switch to one of the tech tees, either short sleeve or long sleeve, paired with Feint pants.
