Richly oiled and embossed Italian leather.
The Trailmaster LTD features our unique top grain imported leather, richly oiled and embossed.
Building on the Trailmaster’s legacy, it features the same medium size platform and a rounded uninterrupted perimeter that is easy to get behind and move around without any sharp, snaggy edges. The heavy-stock leather adds a degree of firmness and an aspect of all-weather durability that is unmatched in standard leather tops. The LTD features medium/firm density foam with an extra thick nose for technical climbing and “body english”. A flat sitting area with a central relief promotes sitting on your bones. This saddle is mounted atop chromoly rails.

I am a Chromag athlete. This saddle has been incredible over the last few seasons of trail riding. It is super comfortable on the climbs, but also out of your way on the descents. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish saddle.
Seat rails look strong, finish is sweet. Also everyone at the bike park knows I’m cool because I have Chromag parts.
This is the worst seat ever. How is everyone saying it’s comfortable. It’s absolutely NOT. Did 3 x 10km rides over 4 days around town, and I had to take it off. It’s honestly terrible. Looks so good, but has zero comfort. Pretty upset I waited so long for this and it cost so much, to be disappointed.
Sorry to hear this saddle wasn't for you. We want people to be stoked on our products and we'd like to find you a saddle that works. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can figure something out for you.
On my 3rd Trailmaster LTD, not that I've gone through them, but they're on 3 different bikes. They get better and smoother with age, and always bounce back after a mud affair. Plus a number of first time viewers have thought they were wood, so there's that :/.
Love this saddle!
Hard to put into words the comfort of this saddle. Have been running the old ti railed version for close to 15 years on multiple bikes and it's still insanely functional and comfortable. Moved it to my gravel bike for a few century rides last summer and realizing I really need to get a few more for the other bikes in the quiver. Would love to see these offered with ti rails again. Carbon shell would be next level!
I was a bit Leary about buying a $170 saddle but it was leather and made by Chromag so I just pulled the trigger and bought it. So glad I did. I really am liking the leather and the size. The leather lets me move in the saddle more but still have control over body position and this thing is really comfy. In fact I was really surprised how comfortable it is. My only complaint is it has a bit of a creak at times but doesn’t bother me anymore. Got in in pine to match my bike and it fits in perfect. Thanks Chromag again.
One time investment for years of comfort.
This is the best saddle I’ve used. It has held up through multiple seasons of wet north shore riding, and is super comfortable for all-day epics. I love how it takes on its own unique patina as you use it. Another solid, well-made product from Chromag.
