My name is Jake Fox, I grew up in Langley B.C. but for the last 5 years I have been living in Kamloops.
I grew up riding dirtjumps and competing in slopestyle then slowly transitioned to freeride and filming video parts.
In 2021 I had a bad crash riding a friends Airbag landing which resulted in me breaking my C5 vertabrae in my neck. It has been a wild recovery journey to say the least but it has left me with a whole new appreciation for biking. Since my injury I spend just as much time behind my camera shooting photos as I do riding. The hunt for getting a nug with one of my close friends gives me a similar rush to when I was really pushing myself on the bike. I still love to ride and progress it just looks a lot different than it did before my crash.
When I was a young grom in high school I always said if I could ride for any company it would be Chromag. They always had the sickest riders and were constantly dropping banger video parts. It really felt like the coolest company in biking. To think im coming up on 10 years with the team is such a trip. They were my first sponsor and have stuck with me through it all and I couldn’t be more stoked to represent Chromag for another season.
