The Tact is slightly more weighty than the Habit, with a heavier polyester-nylon grid fabric and Velcro wrist closure for those who prefer a more secure feel.

The AX RITTER™ palm has a polyurethane injected pattern for a tackier feel. The palm material wraps around the fingers and outer edges to provide extra durability for riders who roll their hands outward slightly, or even the occasional brush passed a tree.

My favourite 3 season glove

I have been using these gloves for around half a year, and they are holding up really well. I really like the simplicity of these gloves, I find most gloves these days are built a bit too light. These can take a few brushes against trees and are still have a low profile, snug fit. The synthetic leather palms grip the bars well in the wet or dry conditions and have also worn well.

Feels like nothing

Height: 6’ 3”
Weight: 220lbs
Size: XL

Purchased 2 pairs of these and have them with me in Utah for the month of April.

The fit of fingers, thumbs and back is perfect on my hands, but the Velcro wrist closure only reaches 1/4 across the loops. They are holding well though.

Overall combined with my Squarewave grips these feels amazing on the hot desert trails. Not sure if these will hold up for more than one season as they are not as heavy duty as other gloves I use for instruction.

Also, the finger touch works with my phone for pictures and vids.

Update on these gloves after some stitchwork

I'm the guy below who had a pair fail after just a few months of riding. So as I said in my original review, I loved my purchase so much I ordered another set...but then the original gloves ripped on both thumbs. My second set also failed in the same place on both hands. The thumb appears to be stitched differently than the fingers, so there's clearly a weak point there.
I watched a youtube video on how to sew a torn seam and another one on how to fix a worn out glove and went to town on both pairs. Just a needle and thread, no sewing machine necessary. 15 min job. Both are solid again and no problems with either set after a month of riding! Should get a lot more time out of these now but I wish the failures hadn't happened in the first place.

Great gloves for any kind of ride

If you're looking for a pair of gloves that feel comfortable and are resistant on any kind of ride, then the Tact are the right choice. Although I also have the Habit, I like these gloves for rougher terrain or the bike park. They adapt so well to the hand and the grip is awesome even in wet conditions.

These gloves size slightly bigger for me than the Tact, so if you're in between sizes on the tact, I'd go for the smaller size.

Forget they're there

The Tact are just the gloves that I was looking for. I often have issue with finding a glove that just fits. The Tact just fade into the background, without having faded at all in terms of wear. I've been running them through the Fall and Summer, washing them after every ride and they're still mint!

I Forget I’m Wearing Them

I’m a very “medium” glove person and the medium that I ordered was pretty snug. After a few uses it stretched out to be perfect and I forget I’m wearing them. They’re really tactile and the best gloves I’ve ever used with a touchscreen. I have 30+ hours in them and taken a few minor spills; they look brand new. Would buy again!!

Almost perfect...but didn't last

I bought these at a shop while on a ride trip this summer. Perfect fit. My fav fitting bike glove so far. Velcro is robust and strong too. They were fine all summer and I liked them so much that I ordered another set in a different colour. That same week, the stitching on the thumbs and finger of both gloves failed on my original purchase. So they only lasted from June to Sept. I'm going to try and sew them back up myself and hopefully get some more time out of them.

Hey Greg,
Sorry to hear about this. It's great you're willing to stitch them up, we're glad you're going to get more use from them.
We'll be in touch about getting you a new set as well.
